scrambler
Lots of religious ideas here. Ideas from Eastern cosmology of multiple creation/destruction cycles, multiple incarnations of world savior. According to Buddhistic and other Eastern beliefs, an individual if virtuous enough has the opportunity to escape uncontrolled existence (liberation from Samsara), afterwards to achieve Nirvana (Sanskrit: without flame). RobBob
I'm going to have to find a copy of Yojimbo. The samurai inspiration for High Plains Drifter.
bunglehead
Yojimbo is a great film. It's pretty much a masterpiece. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend it. See it on the biggest, loudest screen you can find.
Jason_Martin
I just saw the new Matrix piece of trash. It is utterly horrible. I would urge everyone to avoid it. The movie is not only boring, but just plain stupid. Jason
Ratboy
I saw it as well. While the battle scene in The Dock about half way through was uttery fantastic, the movie as a whole was a very big letdown. All flash and no soul. I quit caring what happened to Neo and crew about half way through.
Dru
I saw it and I thought it was better than the second one. There are some pretty cool effects.
sk
I thought it was great!! way better than the second one. And it didn't cheese out and have a hollywood ride off into the sunset ending. I thought it wraped the story up nicely
