erik Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 one thing tho ryland i find atleast with myself is if i am climbing with people who are leagues better then me(most everyone) i find myself falling into a passive role. another phenomenina i have seen with people who are not that good or beginners climbing with people much better with them is that they get a false sense of ability and in some cases this could turn into an issue of safety. but yeah climbing with stronger people allows you to see what is capable!!! erik Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 i have to ask what makes you think you are going to die? there are certain times sure when it sucks, but at no point do i tell myself i am going to die. seems kinda like the opposite thing you want to be telling yourself. keep a positive outlook even in the most dire situations!! that being said i am a litewaite 4th class summer climber......so what do i know?
