erik
one thing tho ryland i find atleast with myself is if i am climbing with people who are leagues better then me(most everyone) i find myself falling into a passive role. another phenomenina i have seen with people who are not that good or beginners climbing with people much better with them is that they get a false sense of ability and in some cases this could turn into an issue of safety. but yeah climbing with stronger people allows you to see what is capable!!! erik
i have to ask what makes you think you are going to die? there are certain times sure when it sucks, but at no point do i tell myself i am going to die. seems kinda like the opposite thing you want to be telling yourself. keep a positive outlook even in the most dire situations!! that being said i am a litewaite 4th class summer climber......so what do i know?
