You have to believe the AIDS virus is spread by a lack of Federal funding. 2. You have to believe that the same teacher who can't teach 4th graders how to read is somehow qualified to teach those same kids about sex. 3. You have to believe that guns, in the hands of law-abiding Americans, are more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Chinese communists. 4. You have to believe that there was no art, orchestras or ballet before Federal funding. 5. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical, documented changes in the earth's climate, and more affected by yuppies driving SUVs. 6. You have to believe that gender roles are artificial, but being homosexual is natural. 7. You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on demand. 8. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity. 9. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but uneducated activists from Hollywood do. 10. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it. 11. You have to believe the NRA is bad, because it supports certain parts of the constitution, while the ACLU is good, because it supports certain parts of the Constitution. 12. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high. 13. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides aren't. 14. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried is because the right people haven't been in charge. 15. You have to believe conservatives telling the truth belong in jail, but a liar and sex offender belongs in the White House (from '93 through 2000)! 16. You have to believe that homosexual parades on public property should be constitutionally protected, and manger scenes on the courthouse lawn at Christmas should be illegal. 17. You have to believe that illegal Democratic Party funding by the Communist Chinese is somehow in the best interest of the United States. Vote Democratic ... It's easier than thinking! Quote

You think sexy lingerie is tube socks and long underwear. 16. You know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter,& construction. 17. It takes you 3 hours to go to the store for one item even when you're in a rush because you have to wait for the Idiot with two wheel drive and no studs to get out of your way. 18. You're absolutely right, Trask. Now compare to the Republican philosophy: I am a Republican because... I believe the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person's dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored. I believe in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability. I believe free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity. I believe government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn. I believe the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations and that the best government is that which which governs least. I believe the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people. I believe Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times. I believe Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world. Finally, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government. The choice is clear. We're in good hands.
