erik Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 WHAT DO YOU LIKE BETTER CORN OR FLOUR I LIKE THEM BOTH!!!! Quote
Dr_Flash_Amazing Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 Can't put a burrito on a corn tortilla, can't make a proper taco on a flour tortilla. Both have their place, but corn tortillas are the better of the two. Especially if it happens to be two corn tortillas full of carne asada, cilantro, and onions from Martina's in Madras, and you're on your way home from Smith. Quote
JGowans Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 Whatever happened to San Juan Salsa's Afterburner flavor? I can only find Medium, Hot or Traditional. Can't get Afterburner anywhere...corn tortilla chips are the preferred transporters of said salsa. Quote
ChrisT Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 I like 'em both too...flat...with cheese in the middle Quote
rr666 Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 Corn if it is freshly crisped in a vat of oil, and still dripping with oil when chomping on them. Otherwise, flour rocks. I can eat them straight. Quote

iain Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 FLOUR TORTILLAS ARE THE SUPERIOR TOOL FOR FASHIONING A QUALITY BURRITO. CORN TORTILLAS ARE WORTHLESS BUT MAKE GOOD FRISBEES. Quote
ChrisT Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 I *love* corny foods...tamales, polenta, cornbread...practically anything made out of corn Quote
iain Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 I eat a lot of polenta but I don't like it in my tortillas. Polenta is awesome fried. Quote
