  1. The Onion News Network is some of the funniest shite on the internet. Here's my favorite...I am the Law And another...2007 Ocular Penetration Restriction Act
  2. What am I missing here.....?
  3. Almost twenty years ago (!) I remember scrubbing and bouldering around on a mossy boulder in the woods near my girlfriends house. It even had an ancient rusty 1/4"er on top. In retrospect that's the only evidence I can recall that it might be climbable. I can't remember if it's 4' tall or 40'. Good luck. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF&msa=0&msid= 103657142390340050646.000461f3fc9c999fa1b6b
  4. Great photos and nice climb. Seems like there might be a lot of nice moderate, mixed climbs on that flank of Shuksan.
  5. You should post more TRs. Nice pics. I right clicked on the red X's copied the url and pasted it into a different tab of my web browser, if anyone's interested.
  6. Bingo. Thanks a lot. Nice burly tour you had there BTW.
  7. For skierless climbers would the approach to the White Salmon and it's ascent be postholing hell or firm and walkable? Thanks you might save me a wasted day.
  8. Damn. That's motivation. Amazing how snow free it all looks. Nice work.
  9. I found very different conditions today at 2000' and 6000' feet. At 2000' (valley bottom) everything quite firm. At 6000' pole deep mush with a thin ice crust on top. I don't climbing conditions are very good right now.
  10. All shamelessly reposted from old TRs etc.
  11. My guess is that the you would be stopped by snow well before the river crossing which is about 5 miles from Mosquito Lake Road. From the river is ~5 miles to the end of the logging roads so now add a couple more more miles of slogging onto that. I could see doing one of them in a long sloggy weekend. But thats just a guess.

    NATIONALIZATION!

It seems that the obvious answer is while mutual funds and so forth are invested in these banks so are many of Paulsons very wealthy buddies.
  13. Sorry Sol..... but you kind of set yourself up for it! http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=588816
  14. All these sweet pics make me want to do that climbing thing you guys are always talking about.....
  15. That is NOT! a stable geologic formation.
  16. Can't wait to get up in the hills and see the chaos. Unfortunately SR 542 is now blocked by a mudslide 250' wide and 6' deep! No access to eastern Whatcom County now. Ouch!
  17. tvash, that zombie post does it. I think it's time you went back to work.
  18. Lots of fat blue ice at sumallo bluffs while driving by today. Everything looked as in as I've ever seen it.
  19. The global warming has altered conditions so that some summers the snow slog is black ice and debris covered slabs. Via Ferrata is still ghey IMHO.
  20. Replace the skinny skis with some cut-off fatties and a Chariot works pretty well. Best to have grandma buy that stuff as it gets pretty $$$. While control is surprising good In all honesty the Chariot can be challenging when crossing (sidehilling) a slope. It definitely wants to tip over or pivot below you. This is not a recommended activity particularly by the mother of your children.
  21. Further Evidence
  22. Amazing Photos! Put it on the list!
  23. I'd say this picture completely exemplifies typical PNW ice climbing.
  24. The spray Blake. You contributed the spray.
