I put a yates ice screamer to a real world test. I didn't tie off the screw but rather clipped to the hanger, as designed. Everything worked exactly as it was supposed to (except me I suppose) or I wouldn't be typing this now. I like screamers.

Let me know next time you go so maybe I can either tag along or plan accordingly. Every time but one that I've been over there the weather has been crappy. I'd love to ski there sometime.

We talked to a guy at the gate who said he had called the rangers the day before to make sure the gate was opened, and of course it wasn't--at least not for an alpine start. We trudged up the road. If it weren't for that crust it would have been perfect conditions!

Stumptown is, hands down, Portland's best cuppa. They are also, hands down, the biggest bunch of elitist pricks in town. So I buy my stumptown beans at New Seasons. The coffee I had in the Army was easily the most vile, disgusting swill out there but I swear it was loaded with Benzedrine.

Pub club at Magic Gardens tomorrow. Close to timmy and the show should be worthy of a sprayfest.

Traditionally its more expensive to drink beer at that "festival" than hitting a bar. That being said, I'm game for getting my drink on with the gaper. You do realize, of course, that said festival doesn't start until Thursday right?
