  1. And I am sure she will. I'll be in Rome my brother otherwise I would be engaging in pagan debauchery as well. Slaughter a goat for me will ya?
  2. Seems to me that rental on an axe for 6 days would equal or exceed the cost of just buying a cheap one. Afterwards they can hang it on their wall and spray about what hardmen they are.
  3. Carrying your skis like that in a forest would severely suck unless I am totally not getting how you lash them down.

    I hope.....

This, coupled with Greg's avatar pic of a homo, is leading me to the conclusion that he's here, he's queer and we need to get used to it.
  5. I just bought a Canon G2 from buydig.com as well. I recommend doing a search on here for more recommendations and some links for websites that review cameras. After many hours of research I determined that eBay was the WORST price for all digital cameras I was looking at. THe G2 was on average over $100 more on eBay than at buydig.com. Good luck
  6. You are delusional. I am 37 and never in my life did I ever sport a mullet.

  12. I've used the EDK in this application with no problems. Just leave really long (~3') tails and dress the knot before waiting. Another option is to rap off the single strand of the thicker cord and use the thin line as a pull cord.
  13. I like to refer to mullets as a Tennessee mud flap.
  14. How much you wanna bet Anna's PM box is absolutely flooded right now?
  15. I've never had this experience, nor have any of my friends. For the sake of clarity I want to emphasize that we are talking about PIP coverage and NOT coverage of another drivers policy following an accident. One. Successfully to the tune of over 10K, many years ago. None of my friends nor myself have ever had this experience. The closest situation to this I can recall was when I totalled my truck and the insurance company tried to undervalue the replacement cost. All I had to do was provide three examples of similar vehicles and the asking prices for them. I did not think this was unreasonable at all. I recovered the fair replacement value of the truck. Again, none in my experience. Maybe my experience is outside of the norm since I researched insurance companies before spending my money and I am well-versed in insurance law. I am covered by State Farm.
  16. You may not "lose" but you settle quite a few. I know this for a fact.
  17. Unlike the medical experts hired by attorneys right? They are bastions of objectivity, no?

  20. Been drytooling again Trask?
  21. I don't think lumping objective hazards and subjective hazards together is helpful. Anna's mistake was one of judgment that was affected by factors completely under her control while Alex Lowe's was not, aside from being there in the first place. Its good to reflect on those close calls to learn from them as much as possible. To just flippantly say "shit happens" or be fatalistic about it misses a significant learning opportunity. I hope Anna gets back on that horse and rides. A controlled, supportive environment and gradually building your confidence level might be the ticket. You may find that your head is more in the game now then before the accident.

American soldiers in Germany adopt this kind of attitude all the time.

Re-read the post from Trask that started the thread. No mention of immigrants, implicit or explicit, is made. Trask's argument, as I read it, is that english should be the only language on credit card readers. Period. My wife is a non-native english speaker--hell, she speaks english better than I at this point and she's only been here about 9 years. I assumed from an avatar named Kiwi that you were a New Zealander so I apologize if I offended with my crack regarding being a non-native speaker.

I said "going" to Poland Kiwi, not moving. Are you a non-native english speaker? ATMs in Europe have an English option on them, even in places like the Czech Republic. Under your same argument that should be removed--even for visitors. Personally, I am glad I can access english-language ATMs when abroad. I still don't see the problem with having to select between english and spanish on an ATM or credit-card reader. That is what the thread is about, no?
