Wallstein, Go on a backcountry ski trip with people who are already good skiiers and won't wait for you (or so it seems). You will very quickly learn b/c skiing, or at least survival skiing!

Has anyone considered that the kind of women climbing out there these days DON'T want flower patterns and pastels? maybe you havn't seen some of them but I can't help but think they might not be down with that.

And we all know it's the "journey" that matters, not the summit...

Havn't tried it myself but was told red duct tape works better than flagging tape. The rigidity and colour makes it stand out better then sagging orange tape. Maybe a *little* off topic, but I saw that dash driver was an airline pilot and i'm thinking of ditching school to fly.

Is it true you need a university degree of some sort to be hired by a mojor airline these days?

You can buy these "night and day" contacts that you leave in overnight for up to a month . They let more O2 through the contact so they breath better. I've left my regular contacts in for 15 days and didn't have a problem. Contacts save fogging up regular glasses and cleaning them. You also don't have to worry about losing glasses when you faceplant. I'm never taking glasses again .

There are NO cons to MEC .

EVERST IMAX!! I saw it 3 times in theater and inumerable on home video. If you sit really really close to the T.V. at home it almost, almost looks like an IMAX.
