In-n-Out in So. Cal has had a protein wrap for years on their "Secret" menu. It's a double-double wrapped in leaf lettuce. It's not half bad, but no where near as satisfying as the real thing.

Titanium would be a real bitch to extrude.

Well, if you want to get technical, it was a Seattle Mountain Rescue member, riding in a King County Helicopter who first spotted him, and the ground team that got there was two Ski Patrolers & a Mt. Rescue guy.

Patriot - a patriotic person; patriotic - supporting one's country. Last time I looked, more people in this country voted against shrub than voted for him. he won on a contested electoral vote. Same for clinton in 92' (with the exception of the contested electoral). Therefore, the will of the country seemed to be against shrub. So does that make those of us who don't like him unpatriotic? I think not!

o.k., I do actually wear orthotics. I own 3 pair. I have a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law who make them for a living. For what issue do you wear them, pronation, arches, combination of things? I don't wear my orthotics in my ski boots, because as you suggest, clamping the boot down puts pressure on the little lump on the orthotic device, which in turn drives it into the bottom of my foot. OUCH! Jim Mates, the guy I recommended, can do one of two things; a) he can trim your orthotics so they fit in whatever shoe/boot you want to wear them in, including your ski boot, or; b) he can make you some footbeds for your ski boots that will give you basically the same support as your orthotics. I realize money is tight, but is sounds as though as far as your ski boots go you have two choices 1) get your orthotics fine tuned, or 2) ditch em' and get footbeds.

Shrub has had a boner for Saddam from day one. 9/11 was a convenient, albeit lame, excuse for him to go in and get the bastard. Don't get me wrong, Saddam had it coming. But the lengths that this administration goes through to first con (emphasis on con) vince that it is necessary and then to convince (again, emphasis on con) the american public and the rest of the world has been outrageous. While I'm at it, you know what really pisses me off? The notion that if I don't support the war, it infers that I'm against our troops, and therefore unpatriotic. Fucking conservative wankers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who made your orthotics? You may want to go see Jim Mates, he's a custom boot fitter in Ballard who does wonderful things to inserts for ski boots.

They'll probably get past the Chiefs today, but they won't get past New England. And it won't be Manning's fault.

For those of you who never had the opportunity to meet Dr. Otto Trott, you missed meeting one of the all-time nice people that God ever put on this earth. I first met him at an anniversary party for my in-laws. My father-in-law and Otto had climbed & skiied together many moons ago. After he gave a testamonial at the party, I told my wife "I'd pay money to see this guy in Vegas"! He was that funny!

There was a guy at Apple PT in Renton who is a climber. It's been about 6 years since I was there. I'll see if I can dig his name up.
