Incidentally, The Mountaineers Climbing Courses are generally in the Icicle during the month of April The rest of the year, it's just normal folk.

Regardless of whether or not the climbing parties were or were not a Mountaineers party, there do seem to be a lot of accidents in the Icicle....

I'll throw in a vote for the Salomon Super Mountain 9's. Definately the most comfortable out of the box boots that I've owned. As always, whatever fits you the best is your best choice.

I heard on the radio this morning that one of these missing climbers bodies was found and recovered near the summit of Mt. Baker. Crose, is that of the Ephrata & legendary Mt. Rainier to Ocean Shores Running Team?

The maps you are referring to are produced locally by a guy named Stan Friedman. Really good high quality stuff...

Another vote for Arc'Teryx! I don't have the nozone, but I do own 2 others (Khamsin 50 & Bora 95). Excellent craftmanship, very comfy, maybe a little heavier than purists would approve of, but overall a great buy. Speaking of which, to save a few bucks head northe to B.C. to buy one. 2 Years ago with the exchange rate, I got the 2 packs for $395.00 U.S.!
