How sad. I just spoke to a friend Wednesday evening who knew Hardy pretty well. Pete gave me an update on his recovery. It sounded like everuthing was going to be o.k.. R.I.P., and my condolences to his friends and family.

VW - It's worked pretty well for me. I'm larger (down to 195 now but been up to close to 230). So hypothetically my 46 yo knees should be taking a beating. So far so good. I should mention I began taking it in 1998, just after my second meniscus surgery. YMMV.

The person who has the most fun training...... The only supplement I use is Glucosamine w/Chondritan & MSM for the knees. When I can't run for whatever reason, I use my stairmaster for 45 minutes. It is a great cardio workout.

I saw a news report talking about the Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro who broke his leg in the Preakness. He is recovering well. It said that he will spend the rest of his life lounging around and impregnating females. Barbaro will be re-named "Kevin Federline".

The Cougar Mt. Trailhead off of Hwy. 900 offers a great trail run - from the trailhead to shy bear pass and back. I think it's ~3 miles RT w/a 1200' or so elevation gain.

I saw lot's of County Sheriff's with folks pulled over today. We live off of state hwy 169. There have been time when on my evening run on the Cerad River Trail I'll see the same state trooper have 3 people pulled over in the span of an hour.

The bastards in the White House and the other Houses need to be replaced. I hope there are viable candidates that can get their messages across well enough to get elected. We saw a miniature performance of this same soap opera here in Washington 2 years ago; when the absurdity of Rossi's, er uh, Vance's court actions became apparent and some of the local GOP's started to bail off of the sinking party ship they began eating eachother in public.

You are correct in your assessment oc censorship being a bad thing....to a point. That point to me is self-censorship otherwise known as common sense, manners and ettiquete. Last week I was at a company who does custom aircraft interiors. The currently are working on a V.I.P. jet for the United Arab Emirates. Apparently they don't wipe. The airplane had 3 (count em') 3 bidet's on it. Fucking A!!!
