Well, I can now longer just tear up those toothless FS tickets I always got at the trail head; now they send them to the US attorney's office in Eugene, OR via, get this, central violations bureau in Atlanta , GA cost of ticket is $75-unless for some strange reason they leave the whole ticket: copies, pink, white, yellow on your car with the whole ticket book.Hee-Haw.Lucky Larry

I ate half a flat box of Cinnamon rolls from slaveway and 500mm of coffee before we did SEWS. The sugar and caffeine kicked in as i was still waking up, the karbs and fat kept me going until I ate some more munchies later. Eat everything you can get down and forget the die-yet. If it doesn't make you happy while your eating it then it is psyching you out, not up, for the climbing.

I always ended up w/injured fingers from the gym the few times I went. A much better rock climber then myself just used the door jamb at home. The latest scare is communicable skin diseases of which there are many and some are passed on by sweat. And some are very bad, as in , antibiotic resistant flesh eating kind. I would recommend not climbing gym plastic w/any open wound. To each his/her own.

all the above. Skyridge has a spicy run out start; do the second pitch traverse as it is easy and the exposure is not to be missed.

nice, the traverse was not completely covered w/snow when I was up there sept 2 and looked too sketchy so I bailed.
