In my opinion, if I can touch them... they're real.
  3. I wish... anyone wanna work for me?
  4. It's all single pitch sport, on a rock type affectionately referred to as "Rhinostone." Difficulties run the gamut from 5.Easy, to well, 5.Hard
  5. Oh yeah! Frank, we're definitely gonna be planning some regular weekly sessions there once the weather cooperates a little more! -Josh

    Rock hard?

I read a book along these lines titled "An Autobiography of a Yogi" ...Changed my life.
  7. I think the title explains it fairly well. Check it out.
  8. Ahem, and just how might you know that?
  9. I'm off all day next wednesday and available to climb as early as necessary! Lets hope for some decent weather! -Josh
  10. I'll know if I can tomorrow as my work schedule for the following week is posted on thursday afternoon. -Josh
  11. Hey Braydon, You know I'm in for as much alpine as humanly possible and will have weekdays off this summer. I've already been chased off the N.F. of Shuksan by a storm this year so I've got a score to settle with that route! And having scrambled both Buckner and Stuart from the south I really want to climb them from the north! Besides I really want to hear all about Aconcagua. -Josh
  12. I'd love to come out and put some more names with faces from CC.com! I'm in Lake City, any north end establishment would be just fine for me. Jens once told me that this used to be a regular occurrence and perhaps it could be again? -Josh
  13. Unfortunately it looks like some serious precipitation is forecasted up there this week.
  14. Ok we get it already! But seriously, Im up for wednesdays too! Just let me know when and where to be. Also Collin, I'm in Lake City if you might want to meet up and carpool from the north end somewhere. -Josh
  15. Went out and played around on the Source Lake line near Alpental today with Mercyful Fate. It was clear cold and beautiful the route lies in the shade and should at least be in for the next few days. Plus there is a nicely packed slowshoe track to the base. Good fun! Here's a shot of Mercyful Fate climbing some overhanging mixed on TR. Source Lake line to the right with some other fun looking curtain up in the gully farther right.
  16. Sunny with a high of 26 at Snoqualmie pass tomorrow. Anyone wanna go hunt some ice to climb?
  17. Must be for that Trango 2009 homemade cam world cup.
  18. Still lookin for partners for Wed-Sat if anyone is available/interested. Friday looks nice, supposed to be relatively cold (at night)this week, anyone want to try and find some ice? Alpental maybe? -Josh
  19. I'm available wednesday also and wouldn't mind fooling around down at magnussen as long as it's not too wet. What time might I expect to find someone there? -Josh
  20. I'm super close by in Lake City and always up for some messing around down at Magnussen. Matt, I've been there once before and it's actually pretty fun. They've really got it set up for beginners to learn with lots of neat features. The structure climbs surprisingly well and has no holds just pseudo-natural texture. Definitely worth checking out. Shoot me a pm Collin if ya still need the occasional partner.
  21. Bump, nice weather tomorrow, anyone wanna get out?
