  1. We all experience these days. Thanks for posting anyways. I recently spent 3 days up at the Wine Spires of WA pass and basically got rained out everyday and climbed nothing. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  2. impressive and Very cool! Iā€™m interested in hearing more about your decent. How did you get off the top of Whitehorse and end up back at the squire creek TH?
  3. Excellent! This valley just keeps getting better with each route and even mildly popular! I was clearing some of the trail up to the illusion wall last Thursday and there were two vehicles in the parking lot from out of state! šŸ˜® Looks like the word is getting out! šŸ˜
  4. Every outing, rain or shine, is an opportunity to learn about climbing and yourself. Keep at it! I love the youthful energy. Something this site has lacked for a while. Keep bringing the stoke, dude!
  5. Sweet photos! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
  6. Wow! Wolverine tracks! Thatā€™s how you know you are on the path TRULY less traveled! Thanks for a glimpse at a seldom posted mountain!
  7. Beautiful! That Ross Lake shot is breath-taking!
  8. Bad ass! Nice photos too! Thanks for sharing!
  9. This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this adventure! I was in Kauai 7 years ago and remember looking up at that mountain and that east face and wondering. What a special place.
  10. Thatā€™s a sweet line. Nice work being patient with conditions.
  11. Looks like this would be a fun ski in the right conditions. Way to use your eyes and not just a guide book
  12. Nice report Jason. I had a similar idea for my 2020 summer. I was out there at the same time with a small crew. MY first time. What a place! That East ridge of Wolf's head is special. We, too, got turned around on a couple routes because we were looking for "easier" climbing. Turns out, we were just weak, out of shape, and scared! LOL!
  13. Rad! Almost makes me want to get a new pair of ice tools!
  14. How was the descent? Good skiing?
  15. The king of cascade limbers strikes again! Maybe I should call you king of wallowing? King of choss? šŸ¤£
  16. Sick! Looks dreamy! Jason, the yellow pad does not signal ā€œjunk showā€. It signals ā€œseasoned vet of the cascadesā€ ... or so I like to tell myself when I, too am carrying one on my back! šŸ˜šŸ¤£
  17. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing! Man, do I miss the Utah desert and all itā€™s lovely sandstone.
  18. Interesting. I assumed there was good ice out there but never knew how big it was. Very nice!
  19. Sweet climb. Merry Christmas to you and thanks for the read.
  20. Cool! What did you find up there? ice giants? the holy grail? fun? šŸ˜Š
  21. Amazing. I love how casual this reads. No issues, no epics, just sendfest. šŸ¤£ Seriously though, super impressive ascent. I agree with Jason on the Swenson torch. Impressive. Keep climbing!
  22. Classic shoulder season scrambles. Nice one. I always wondered what these buttes looked like. Thanks for sharing as usual.
  23. I love this time of year for climbing a peak. Shoulder seasons are the best time for a random peak scramble, although with the way the cascades are these days, Is say Lundin is not considered ā€œrandomā€.
  24. Oh no! The Himalayan black berries have made it back that far into that watershed!? Thanks for the hard work out there. Itā€™s too bad the walk is so far these days. I remember being out there with my then girlfriend. We backed off of the crux of online. She didnā€™t like the runout/crux combo. I didnā€™t argue. Maybe we will go back now. I too wonder exactly what pitches were retro bolted and how many new bolts were added.
  25. Who says the cascades are climbed out?! šŸ˜
