what will the angry right do with their mandate?
tvashtarkatena replied to Hugh Conway's topic in Spray
To be fair, we all benefit from gunpoint-discounted gas at the pump. -
The card has only 22kb of storage available - well 32kb but 22kb all that is used now. (Give me a guess how much memory a mri requires) Check out these links: link1 link 2 see page 2 You are clearly suggesting that the Taiwan system is more advanced that it is. The cards have limited info and there are still significant barriers to information holders sharing data seamlessly. You also ignore the cost containment issues. Um...you don't need to store one's medical history on the card itself to have cardkey access to it. We realize that such technological wonders may continue to baffle you, however. Another revelation: that little man on TV? He's not actually IN THE BOX. Now back to our regularly scheduled 25 person medical billing department...

Good article in the latest New Yorker about this challenge to Cali's Prop 8 that will likely go to the supreme court. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perry_v._Schwarzenegger THey heavy hitter on the legal team; a former Bush man, has won 44 out of 56 supreme court cases...and he's shooting for full marriage rights, including OMFG THE WORD MARRIAGE.

I think all the fucking FaceBook clubs are actually in FuckBook.

If you're crazy about stainless, you really need to check out the surgical table I just bought at UW surplus.

Since you should buy Petzl crampons, it really doesn't matter. Petzl Irvis...choose your attachment system. Or Vasak if you need the extra couple of teeth. You don't, though. I don't think BD's gonna get lighter than these bad boys. What's the application? General mountaineering?

Lots and lots of dead blacks. Rush's popularity blip should be no surprise to anyone.

I'd love to see this Eistein's plan for enforcement. -

With a budget deficit of 10 billion, this is what this legislator is most concerned with... -
That's over a bolt per 100 square miles!

Remember the pre-Watergate years when the Fucks actually made an effort to hide this shit?

That pretty much says it all. I just wonder though if the elitist attitude in both parties will take a thumping in 2012 as populist sentiment is consolidated into a viable political force fueled by the continuation of conditions mimicking economic depression. Also, I could never understand the incongruity of neglecting the folks closest to one, say abusive alcoholic Uncle Joe or your next door neighbor, yet at the same time advocating a Kumbaya approach to complete strangers on the other side of the globe because you think the they're getting a bad rap. Why are people nicer to people they don't know as opposed to someone you might know? Familiarity breeds contempt? People of Wal-Mart? "Alcoholic Uncle Joe" is a great guy, deep down, and we all love him. But we won't be letting him take the kids out for a Sunday drive, either. And we don't want him to be President. If you think xenophobia, racism, paranoia, 16th century religious fundamentalism that belongs on the same shelf with Harry Potter and Batman, and lack of education (elitists! OMG) is just what we need, knock yourself out. You're failing to understand what I'm saying, not that you're unintelligent but perhaps I didn't state it right. Shouldn't domestic problems such as unemployment take precedence? The Obama administration might be preparing to tackle the illegal immigration issue ( Obama Readying Immigration Overhaul Despite Political Risks) but will he do so at the risk of alienating many voters who are unemployed or underemployed? It's been my experience that the Kumbaya folks care about people close and far, and that terms like 'Kumbaya' and 'elitist' provide excuses for not giving a shit about anyone but number 1. And the fucked up alcoholic Uncle Joe as an example of someone you should 'care for'? WTF is up wit dat?

I never met an evangelical that didn't deserve the same.

They are willing to rape their environment to sell us useless crap? Boo fucking hoo. China is pretty short of unique mineral deposits; the countrys they've locked up are less loyal than a Tacoma hooker. Perhaps I'm wrong but being able to put a choke hold on a country because the others citizens can't buy an iPhone is currently a bit far fetched. Not that there aren't other reasons to be worried; just China is in many ways fighting the last war. It's a bit more serious than iPhones. Rare earth metals are necessary for producing solar power generation equipment and other clean technologies, which by most accounts is where we'll need to head as a nation. China has a near monopoly on their production. It's a huge potential barrier between today's mess and tomorrow's sustainable, energy independent future, and one that may well push us towards King Coal and the across the board disaster that will produce.

you're way off, as usual. best go back to your meds Far off? Really? Prove it. Where do our policy beliefs differ, IYHO? For one thing you are a self-described Democrat with a capital D. I don't identify with a party - parties are disgusting amalgamations of compromise and alliances driven by greed for money and power. When given a choice between one piece of shit and another, we choose a different steaming pile. In your case you "support" your pile of shit. In my case I tolerate it. Hardly any "raving support" on my side, especially for specific political figures or a party as a whole. Not substantive, so let's cut the shit, shall we? You agree that Iraq was a big mistake. You didn't before. You agree that global warming is a huge problem caused by man. You didn't before. You agree that there should be health care for all, and that there should not be a profit motive. You were rapidly anti-socialist before (and still claim the same, but you're obviously more of a euro-style socialist now). You agree that all committed couples should be equally granted all the rights of marriage (even if you may or may not agree that it be called 'marriage'). You agree that the US should not torture. I can't remember whether it was you or FW or both who were lauding such practices before. Of course I vote Democrat, which also means that I vote against republicans. I also get out the vote for the Democrats, because I don't believe in passivity when it comes to governance. Since I feel pretty strongly about getting what I believe to be the best agenda enacted, I'm willing to get off my ass and put a little work into it. It's grunt work for an imperfect party. Boo fucking hoo and welcome to the world. You consider yourself 'too good' for that kind of thing, KKK? The bottom line is; because I'm a delegate and because I turn out infrequent voters, I choose to exercise more political power than you do. By all means, please continue to stay home; I obviously like it that way. The Democrats are supposed to be party of middle class values: health care, education, social justice. Is it? Not really...but it's a far cry better than the 'Big Tent'; the party of stupidity, cruelty, selfishness, and myth.

I don't love having her around for entertainment...I don't watch Springer either. I love having her around because she's a cancerous carbuncle on the RNC.

you sure hurt a lot of causes, Bozo While I expect the predictable skid mark from you, let's take a look at your beliefs since I first logged on. In the beginning, you were a raving Bush/neocon supporter, ghey averse as hell, corporation cock sucker, and global warming denier. Now, you essentially believe what I do across the board, with minor differences. My beliefs, however, haven't really changed much during that same period. Go figure.
