  1. That movie is terrible. If you want to watch a strange indi film, check out drowning by numbers. But of course, neither of these films have any climbing in them.
  2. Falling into a crevasse wearing a windshirt with a Neutrino is aid.
  3. How has this not been moved to spray?
  4. Yea, but some of us actually use this site to get some beta, or to hear about a trip that went bad, not to mention some of the great pictures. It also gives people a chance to see route conditions. If you don't like seeing a TR from some trip, simply don't click on it. As for CC, there is some very useful information provided here, and for the most part, people are pretty nice. There will always be assholes, thread stealers, etc. Its the price of getting some good info, seeing good pics, and talking like a pirate.
  5. If we are in the last days, can I stop working and just go climbing?
  6. Some good stuff in here: www.amazon.com/gp/product/0964369850 Depending what you want to do, you can also look into the 50 classics book for the petite grepon, etc.
  7. I agree with plexus. There is also some good stuff near Ouray.
  8. Maybe you should start a thread on chipping versus not chipping.
  9. Shouldn't your caption say, "In love with myself"
  10. You have your choice: A fuck A suck Or whats in the bag
  11. Damn, damn, damn. The japanesse are crazy mofos
  12. Sorry, Take to the limit is still the winner for the best movie ever. The rap song willbe stuck in your head forever! Even better, the shot from the cover of the movie never appears in the film itself. The movie hits a climax with their top roping contest. One movie review says: You must watch this because it is so bad. My climbing buddies and I watched this and laughed our asses off for a week afterward. Now, the movie's cheesy one-liners are part of our everyday lingo. It is the cult movie of climbing: the one that everybody loves to hate. The movie makes no sense. The climbing makes no sense. This is why it's hilarious. Oh, and also because they have a hilarious scene with a bear, which is so poorly done that it's obvious that the footage came from some other source. Oh, and I almost forgot the theme song to the movie, which I can guarantee you will be singing every time you go climbing: "Take it to the limit-limit, got to doit-doit...Watch this movie tonight, or better yet, "Screw this, let's go top-roping!"
  13. I brought a great deal of food with me to Nepal (including beef jerky) and had no problems with it. Have a great time out there!
  14. I am all about helping out our sponsors, however these are one week courses. I cannot miss work. Anyone know of an evening class type course?
  15. Please post this information on the board. I am interested in taking such a course as well. Preferably without having to drive to Leavenworth or taking a week off of work.
