The part of you that thinks it hates itself secretly thinks it loves me. well then clearly it's that part of arch which isn't thinking

oops, now everyone knows I'm sasquatch. secret's out.

sasquatches don't wear clothes

Wheat Thins - Lightly Cinnamon top that!

but then you couldn't fault him for not knowing he wasn't thinking, could you?
-
ha! what do you think?

does your prof give you unfettered internet access & freedom to talk to anybody you want about it? somehow I doubt the latter is true, and if you are free to use the internet, well it shouldn't be hard to find.

I'm with Joseph that we're clearly being felt up to see what kind of reaction they will get. Maybe they will get some beta about our defenses? Maybe US commanders know exactly what they're doing and are providing fake responses for counterintelligence? Who knows behind the scenes. None of those three countries are friendly, they just need our economy for the time being. That will change someday.

You may be wrong here, sobo. The folks you're arguing against seem to think that enlightened populations should work out their differences by barricading entrances.

"Hundreds of billions of dollars are being expended to combat Islamic terrorism, yet no effort is made to contain the ideology behind this terrorism." History may show this statement to describe the single biggest failure of the Bush administration. I think one of the most important fights we can wage should be for freedom of information across the globe. When the entirity of global communications is freely allowed into every home and office without censorship, free societies are only a matter of time. An educated populace will prevail, the trick is to educate the populace. ps. SS I think there is truth in what you said. I just wish you would have inserted an awesome movie title or something.

I find it rather bizarre who tends to come to the defense of Islam. Why? To those special ones: don't y'all think it's possible that some people actually do know a lot about Islam, and maybe that's precisely why they do not subscribe to said beliefs and ideology? Just because you're ignorant doesn't mean we all are, though you're certainly free to hold such a view.

Nobody calls the butter cookie makers evil! Take it back, Arch!

If you ask a Berkeleyan, he/she will probably tell you before you ask how much they hate Bush and his unlawful practices. However, in this recruiting office case I think the Berkeleyans are just following the lead of their dear old commander-in-chief, allowing and encouraging actions that are against the law since it is for the greater good. Love-hate relationships can be so beautiful. Angst, conflict, etc. make love so HAWT!

Whatever law they would use to keep people from blocking any other business/office's entrance in the city. I'm sure they'd find one if they had to look, which they clearly haven't had to up to this point. The language of their ordinance makes it clear the Marines are unwelcome, but no council could pass a law allowing citizens to blockade a business/office that would stand up to a court challenge.

A few tender heart-rending moments, showing some poor unwed mother who just wants to do the right thing and not bring a baby into this cruel world when she can't care for it properly, being beaten back by a merciless mob of right-wing fanatics breaking the law, flanked by police officers who wish to remain neutral... that'll get their blood boiling
-
Silly Berkeley liberals. All that's needed to clear this situation up is to get a few conservative city councils to enact the same legislation but change the words "Recruiting Office" to "Abortion Clinic."

porter, you got any stats for how long it takes the average thread to become about sex?

in a 2-man team, unless you're wicked-skilled, you pretty much rely on your partner's ability to extricate himself on prusiks. don't think you could do it yourself unless you have tried it successfully.

yep Gary, I had the exact same deal with Citi. sucked when they dropped the rate, but of course the way I used the card, there's no way they weren't losing money on me. Right now, I have Citi 2% cash back gas, grocery, drugstore, and 1% cash back everywhere else. Also, CapitalOne doesn't do a foreign transaction fee, so 1% cash back + 1% eating Visa's foreign transaction fee = essentially 2% on all foreign purchases on that card. useful on my upcoming Europe honeymoon.

I'm right here! I will cherish your vote.
