Nice .. We were up there last week and dropped the other way off that ridge to the west down steep chutes and glades. You rarely see anyone on that aspect of silver.

Don't most go in thru Ipsut in winter? I'm not sure if mowich is any easier than going up thru ipsut.People must take sleds up towards mowich lake in the winter....just hitchike on a sunday.

I've had problems with some 3 section poles not collapsing in winter...but I have an old pair old life links that work well. I also have the BD flicklock but don't really like the height and size of them when they are compressed.
