  1. Fuck it. I'm going to Nick's Coney Island for lunch and having myself "a triple...with everything."
  2. Quitting drinking is not an option. Everytime I think about putting something in my mouth, I ask myself, do I really need this. The answer is usually no.
  3. Niiiice! So, what happened to Emily? Did she stay put and wait for you guys, or did she hump it out?
  4. I couldn't agree more. Especially the good stuff. But lately, a good shot (or three) of vodka right when you get home and you can coast into the evening with water. But a nice cold Mirror Pond is VERY hard to resist.
  5. This has been a great thread. I have been participating, albeit, as a lurker. I weighed in, and could stand to loose 10lbs (against my better-half's judgement). So, I'm in. But I thought this would be a good time to re-post this as a great motivator: ZfbTO0GlONU
  6. If you're strong and relatively fast, 3am. If your slower 1 or 2. And if you're REALLY slow, like I remember from all of the 20 member Mazama groups I was with, midnight. I don't miss those days. Take skis. It's the only way to go anymore.

    Mind Fuck

I wonder how that cat is doing? I wonder if he still lurks here?
  8. Why are you such an asshole? A legitimate cc.com thread imploding within 6 posts. Is this a new record?
  9. This demands elaboration!
  10. Perhaps a course in basic personal finance might be helpful in her pursuit of her Masters.
  11. Crossbow. Other products are out there. But when I was landscaping years ago, this was the only thing that really worked. You can get it at any lawn and garden store. It will kill poison oak, blackberries and many other woody plants very effectively. It kills broadleaf weeds too. However it's made to not kill grass. Go figure. I'm sure many here will debate even the notion of using this. But that's your answer.
  12. That's great news.
  13. What exactly did they do? I've never considered it all that bad. Was there a bunch of broken glass or something?
  14. Same. I thought it was good. Perhaps a bit too heavy on the romance crap. I think about 50% less would have still provided enough insight and motivation for the characters. Otherwise, good show.
  15. ghey... But if you'd like to drink beer, I'm in!
  16. Here is Andalkar's site. There are no recent trip reports, but this does give some good insight on what you might expect on JPG. Actually, here is a TR from TAY. Looks like they were up there very recently.

    What annoy's you

Sociopath teenagers and twenty-somethings that hold their cell phone to their ear and never...say...a...word. There's no way a voicemail could last that long. So, I'm convinced they are so attached to their phones that they can't handle not having them against their ear...whether there is someone on the other end or not. Same with the Bluetooth nuts.
  18. I'm in! Well, at least for 2 legs, maybe 4.

    Farting is fun

I knew I'd get accused of that. But someone sent that to me and I couldn't pass up posting it here. There seems to definitely be a 'crowd' for this sort of thing. It's a very specifc genre.

    Rate the commute

Don't leave Portland. They're going to spend $2 billion in the next few years on light rail so there won't be any cars on the roads to create traffic. You're good!
