  1. Shameless Self Nomination: Trout, steins, Twin Pillars the Usual... http://cascadeclimbers.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=878824
  2. partnership always flexible at trout:) sharing is caring
  3. Why a fluke, picket, shovel, mt. axe and ice tool? They all do the same thing...slow you down. And really what are you going to sling. Prussik is fine for crevasse rescue but thats about it and seeing as you are alone if you fall in a crevasse you are GOING TO DIE!
  4. Hmm well our guess's as to whom was leading what were pretty wrong, but we did hear that hammer from all the way over in the sups. p.s. take that tent back and get a new one.
  5. I climbed it twice last year and each time there were different pitons in the same spot (new ones) obviously people try and pull the pins they think are booty, instead they are placed for free climbing. Why not put bolts???? It's not like he is talking about filling in all the old Angle holes but cleaning up some of that junk that could get someone hurt is a good idea.
  6. BBQ Brawts the first day...and hiked the drill around for several hours. Replaced the bolts on the Roo! Did some Comfortchizeling. BBQ Chicken the second day and climbed a couple routes around the mudpile. Mostly hung out in the cave and watched you three boys progress. Tyler's has got some good photos of the hovel
  7. I don't think that is in Oregon....it would be a very unusual formation for central oregon
  8. come on Eric i have been waiting patiently in my cube all day for your TR....lets have it p.s. I bet you were glad it was slick(raining and hailing) part of the time and not always so rough(jugging).
  9. that's the impression i got last fall as well - there are enough new bolts to keep you from taking a bad fall if one of the relics you're using chooses to fail, and certainly the funky old stuff serves as a vertical musuem Easy to leave some junk for the history, but people keep pounding more metal into that thing so they can free climb it, and I think that its more of a mess than anything. Would be nice to see it cleaned up a bit.
  10. Jealous....looks pretty sick mr. adams

Wedged between a grade two and a grade three. This is okay in California but seriously I think its time for a repeat and a down grade:)

  20. I have a week and a half off. I have the $, gear, car, and ability to go about anywhere. I just don't have a partner or anything in particular in mind. Would consider trips to Zion, Yose, Red Rocks, City of Rocks, Hells Canyon, Indian Creek, Tensleep & Devils Tower, ect....Let me know if you are in the same position and want to have some fun. Bryan
  21. Nice, thanks for the laugh Mr. Adams. I appreciate you helping put a smile on my face while sitting in my little cube. Almost done with busy season and I can soon start climbing outside on the weekends again! p.s. we need to have another night of long islands
