Easier said than done

Happened to me last week most recently. It sucks but just dispute the charges and the bank ends up having to refund everything... overdraft fees included as it wasnt you. I just keep very very little in my checking and I don't link any of my savings accounts to my checking accounts so more money doesnt get transferred over and subsequently stolen. Also make sure and pull your credit in a month (assuming you dont already regularly pull it) and make sure none of this ends up on your permanent record.

I'd call on those first... mtn tools is notorious for billing your CC before they actually ship the item. I bet they cant get them

I was in Paris and London earlier this year and couldnt find anything. Also asked on UK climbers and no one knew of any dealers currently distributing them.

Descending down off of Dome on the Chickamin this time of year could be teh suck. The angle right off the col is just steep enough that it is difficult to pick a way through the crevasses. Besides that sounds like a cool trip.

Ade: you might be a little tall for the cierzo... hard to say. Definitely worth a look. I've got ~20 days on mine and so far no complaints expect they only give you one ice axe velcro strap (WTF?). Also if the route has more than a few pitches of chimney and/or hauling I would reach for my valdez.
