50% or less I'd guess. Hard to truly gauge how much goes on that one doesnt know/hear about... And I dont think it's just the older gen that chooses to not post here... look at some of the younger gen that is also out crushing but not spraying

Rest assured Shannon is slowly amassing her own pile of gear and every thing she won (this year and last) is her's and not mine Apparently not enough as those kegs were NOT empty when I took them home. Weak showing this year slackers Speaking of beer I have 4 cases of full sail @ my house that will likely go bad well before I drink through them... perhaps a few of you might take a 6 pack of my hand this Wednesday? I need to lose 10 # anyways

Many many thanks to all that helped make this happen again this year. We raised a little under a grand for the Washington Climbers Coalition This would not have happened if not for the efforts of: Marcus Donaldson Gary Rall and the crew @ PRG: Gary is kind enough to let us use his gym for free! HUGE! If you see him or Kenny make sure to thank him and let him know you'd be stoked if he let us do it again next year! Roger Strong aka the nicest most humble perpetually stoked guy I know. And the only person I know who can climb 11 trad while getting eaten alive by wasps The Climb Max Crew The US Outdoor Crew The OMC Crew Graham and Cilogear La Sportiva Mountain Hardwear Doug Cameron and Full Sail Brewing Toro Bravo Clark Lewis Wayne Wallace for a great slide show Dave Burdick Jennifer Kellams Bill Amos and the other judges Everyone who took pictures or helped time climbers and most importantly you the members of the climbing community that kicked some cash in @ the event I know I totally forgot someone... my apologies!

Dru could do more pushups than all of us combined if he could do his over the top of a baa -
Are those generic knock offs of the real thing or something? Aston Martins and Alfa Romeos

Werd. Two other options: If you can deal with the hour wait Le Pigeon comes highly highly recommended. The Farm (also on Burnside) is another excellent option with slightly shorter wait times.

After the prelims end... I would guess some time between 7:30 and 8. We will be tapping the free kegs around 7:15 or so... plan accordingly! If you are planning on entering the comp be on time (or early!) if you want a guaranteed spot in the comp. We filled up extremely quickly last year. I understand Wayne will be revealing mass beta for gorge ice climbing! I dont know about the rest of you but I plan on taking notes And most importantly: bring some cash to donate to the Washington Climbers Coalition!

I dont know your travel schedule but Rob (mtnathlete.com) will be doing a second seminar in PDX some time in late Feb/early March... I would highly recommend attending as programming (what you do day to day, % of crossfit per week vs % of time in the gym vs cardio, what lifts/exercises/WODs will benefit you) will dictate whether your climbing ability benefits or suffers. Anybody can pick a workout off some website... it takes knowledge and some art to put together months of workouts that at the end will make you a better climber. It would also be in your best interests to either take Fern up on her generous offer (she has more certs than anyone on cc.com by a long shot) and/or attend a CrossFit Level 1 cert to learn the fundamentals of these movements. CrossFit @ full prescription strength is extremely potent and the potential for injury is great especially with the lack of a certified instructor. I know that CrossFit affiliates exist in both Europe and Australia... it might behoove you to keep an eye out for a seminar close to you or time a trip to the US such that you can attend both a CF level 1 cert and Rob’s cert. -
Friendly reminder: this Saturday! Also: looking to make a tax deductible donation to a worthy 501c3 organization? How about the Washington Climbers Coalition? Every little bit helps!
