  1. Hey if someone wants to grab this and set something up, CC.com can pay for the campground fees (and probably for dawgs, buns, burgers). I know Ulee likes doing it every year! Unfortunately my summer is already pretty busy so I'm not sure if I'll have the time. And we know we should probably book earlier so we can get a place in the Icicle near the climbing.
  2. If they could just learn to lose better they could have the 103 mph fireballer. Instead they just got some kid who already needed Tommy-John surgery. Ahh well, hitters are a safer bet. Hopefully he'll be hitting better than expected and in the bigs by next year. Next stop is to pay off the pimp (Boras).
  3. If you don't mind leaving gear and rapping the route, most routes would probably allow you to climb with a 15m rope.
  4. Gotta score me one of those Hollow Flake t-shirts.
  5. Ticket to Stonemasters show in Seattle, Washington. Saturday, August 28, 2009 at 7:00 P
  6. The Forest Service asked us to take down purmit.com. Looks like they no longer approve of selling or trading permits from a third party. So sorry but nothing we can do...please contact the Forest Service as to what to do with your permits or how to get permits.
  7. One time on mountainbike ride down in Moab we stopped at the edge of a cliff and threw some rocks off and they came zinging right back up at us!!! It was either angry Anasazi spirits or the wind. My story is true. Yours is patently false and designed to incite apathy. It was very very true! And...I was wearing a helmet, albeit designed for biking. It is the smart thing when there is the potential for banging your head into the rock. But not needed if you never crash.
  8. i like how you don't care about your head, but got the gloves on to protect the manicure
  9. don't worry, hornblower is dongtastic macho reading material.
  10. I like to wear helmets. I'm wearing one right now.

  15. Having bible verses tattoo'd on for tramp stamps is what all the girls are doing on my block.
  16. I went out with my formerly non-accredited mountain guide yesterday and was reminded how much slab climbing is fun terrification. For me the angle swings back and from vertical to 45 degrees to almost level ground without warning. One moment its easy and the next moment levitation is required.
  17. Road clear up to 3 O'Clock. Thanks to all who helped clear the road.

  21. Actually if you possess a sense of humor it is a never ending wellspring. Made funnier that someone said it with a straight face.
  22. Yes, that is me. Thanks Kev! You are a wonderful person too. Even if you do have a criminal record...its totally irrelevant.
  23. What is the protocol when two Mountie leaders disagree on the interpretation of the Book? What is the resolution path?
  24. The advantage of a larger group is that you can totally draft off the peloton of climbers and climb at a level higher than you normally could by yourself. There is also the "gang" mentality about it. You're a part of something.
  25. Nice! cool to see the Hoze getting some action this year.
