btw, I declined to name the lines, so who ever desecrated them with human words should delete them from memory.
-
Whoever says sent these lines should have some respect for history. I sent all these lines in the 1970s, and it is beneath me to report it. All routes were at least 2 grades lower than listed here, and I climbed them all with passive pro only, often with homemade nuts and hemp rope, which we smoked after each ascent. Gravity has had her way with this mighty crag, back then she was at least 17.5 feet above sea level, which made most of the climbs Grade III affairs. Oh, and I did all these in converse allstars, though I may have had EBs for the final few.

A number of you have contacted me about these, and I would love to sell them to another CC.com person. However, in my process of figuring out what they are worth a book seller has offered me $500 for the set. He'l then turn around and sell them for more of course. I'm selling these to downsize my accumulation and raise money for my own adventures, so I can use all the funds possible. So if a cc.comer can come up with $500 for these in the next couple weeks, they are yours. They really are amazing magazines, but I don't need to tell you that. After two weeks I'll sell them to the book seller if they aren't gone. I'm guessing the set would go for even more on ebay. thanks for looking and i'm sorry to price these out of the range for most of you, but I need the funds.

Good for you Dru. Go get it.

hear, hear Josh. For now I'm just a taxi for a kid who plays a ton of baseball. I would love to get out to Index this summer and at least find a way to go on a couple backpacking trips along with all the other obligations I have found myself under. but taking photos, definitely on my list too.

I know what you'll be doing Dru. Being a uber cool internet hipster guy. Thats your schtick.

Would any one like to buy my fishing license? It is lightly used, I only caught 3 fish with it.

Pending pick up/$, these are sold. I'll add a note if that deal falls through. Thanks!

I have all Alpinists printed from 0 (which is a reprint) to 36. I'm wavering on selling them just to downsize my accumulate (and let someone else enjoy them). I'm putting this out there so that if someone is really interested, they can make me an offer. If no one makes me an offer, I'll add an asking price. This isn't an auction, if the offer is reasonable I'll take it. I'm finally coming around to the fact that I need to unload my accumulate. All the issues are in great shape....only read by me. Some of them may have very minor issues related to when my mailman was stuffing them into the mailbox. A great collection that will be tough for me to part with, but should provide endless stoke to the buyer. ***IMPORTANT NOTE: I'm sorry, but I just don't have the time or energy to sell these things individually. Selling as a complete set only***

Hey there, I haven't taken these things off the shelf for a while so it is time to pass them along. This is basically a Chessler starter set, with ones I've purchased added in: 1929-1976 AAJ Index 1946 (War Time reprint issue) 1966 1973 1974 1975 1976 1977 1979 1980 1981 1983 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993 1996 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2009 Chessler wants $250 for something similar. http://www.chesslerbooks.com/item/10373-american-alpine-journal-set-30-issues-1946-2007-sale.asp $200 for the set...save yourself the shipping charge. I'm not willing to ship these, so local Seattle pickup only. PM me if interested.
