Yep agree. I was just watching a youtube channel this past weekend and they were exploring an old gold mine down in California. It was a huge adit, with passage ways going everywhere. They found a ton of that old steel left in the mine that looked exactly like that, and you could see the business end of them where they were pretty used up. I think you could also hook them onto a machine driven by a compressor or something? Or at least the mine in the Youtube vid had one.

If LaSportiva don't fit your feet I think these are equal to the TX4s. I picked up a pair last year when in Austria because the mountaineering boots I had brought were tearing up my feet (not sure why I had tons of miles in them already), so I used the Scarpas on my hut hike and they are really nice. Last night I was researching an area on here and came across one of @SmilingWhiteKnuckles Trip reports. I always liked reading what he shared here. Made me think of other people who used the site taken by accidents over the years. Here to those taken too early.

My evil plan for engagement worked Puppy. Well the thing is with drones is depending on the environment you may not even notice them. Easiest way to detect them may be to search YouTube for your favorite wilderness area. Then , I guess, “who cares”, right. I get what you’re saying. It’s like if you get your car stolen, and you call the police and expect them to round up a posse and ride out three counties to find it. Instead they may not even send out an officer to talk to you, instead directing you to fill out an online form and that’s it. No man, this is the last straw. The only thing that separates as from the other animals. OVER THE LINE!!!!
