Yep agree. I was just watching a youtube channel this past weekend and they were exploring an old gold mine down in California. It was a huge adit, with passage ways going everywhere. They found a ton of that old steel left in the mine that looked exactly like that, and you could see the business end of them where they were pretty used up. I think you could also hook them onto a machine driven by a compressor or something? Or at least the mine in the Youtube vid had one.

If LaSportiva don't fit your feet I think these are equal to the TX4s. I picked up a pair last year when in Austria because the mountaineering boots I had brought were tearing up my feet (not sure why I had tons of miles in them already), so I used the Scarpas on my hut hike and they are really nice. Same. I used/still use Gaia GPS for a long time but they were bought and now my photos no longer sync from my phone with the free version. I really like the typos on CalTopo, now my go to when researching an area.
