  2. No the drive isn't bad at all. It takes about 1/2 hour to get to the Samm. Plateau from my house via the express lanes. Traffic is alway bad the other direction, but not the direct we have to go...and it is clear by the time we need to head home! His pitching coach is at the K-Center, and we use that place quite a bit. Its no worse traveling than the last two years at Stods!
  3. Ha yeah we turned down Rijos too. We considered En Fuego, but it was too up in the air and he got picked out of 47 kids for the Spartans Green. Will be playing in the Washington State Select League 12U division. Drive to the Samm Plateau isn't too bad and the coaching is very, very good. You guys should come work out at the K-Center some time with us. If you haven't been there, it is the best facility in the Seattle area by a long shot IMO.
  4. And!!! We ain't gonna be in the cellar this year. Thats what they brought in the Astros for.
  5. Ulee is playing for the Spartans this year, first double header is March 10! I haven't been the the redone Dick Cheney Stadium yet, but I hope they still have the sumo suits going. Thought I saw a name on the SS Purple team I recognized. Got an email from their coach last week, but Ulee picked his 2013 team last August.
  6. Its not looking good. They need to score some runs or this season is already in the shitter.
  7. only because the communist food delivery systems lag far behind our superior market driven slop troughs. clearly communism triumphs in this regard.
  8. i'm all out of good ideas. only got dumb ones now.
  9. if we could just get everyone together and do the Harlem Shake, that could really burn some serious fat and its great cardio. every bit helps!
  10. we could put them in a binder
  11. Also, I have this question: what is the highest documented ration of body fat to other matter that has ever been documented in a living human?
  12. I think we can all come together on this universal message though: this problem is because of someone else, and someone else should fix the fucking problem. FIX. IT. I'm not entirely sure what the problem is though. What are you guys discussing in this thread?
  13. I'm with GlassgowSmooches on this. Lets get rid of social services for the fatties. The market can decide how long they live. I'm tired of their girth piling over into my airline seat!!!! Thank you for saying this Smooches!
  14. Would guys like to see my polemic?

  16. the idea that a capitalist country could be bound by laws, rules, and regulations is just assine. these constructs just constrict the efficiencies of the market. true evolution can never happen if we coddle humanity with "protections" that in the long run suppress natural selection.

  18. and Rob is not a capitalist or a communist, he is a VeloFacist.
  19. or whatever the hell it is. point being, that property is not yours. it is all of ours.
  20. don't be such a capitalist pig. give the projector to the collective.
  21. Reading leads to book learnin, which results in ideas, which result in communism. The problem with gubermint is that it needs to be privatized better. too many rules are preventing lobby access to government officials, and this resulted in the recent financial collapse.
  22. well there is "suspicion" of the markets for good reason. but the suspicion is not necessarily of the markets themselves, but some of the people operating in them at a high level. Capitalist crooks have taken this country to the cleaners many, many times...and they just seem to be getting better at it. Central the problem with either system is that they are fallible because humans run them...and perhaps that neither system will ever be executed from a purist's perspective...so you really can't say but you can speculate. From an intellectual standpoint...well who cares about the intellectual standpoint is. From a practical standpoint, a healthy mix of capitalism and socialism seems to be working the best...as it has for some time here. The argument is and will continue to be "what is the right mix"...not how can we become the most awesomist communists evar.
  23. Thanks for sharing your experience telemarker...that was quite a story! Glad you guys are ok. I love how different your detailed report is compared to your initial description!
  24. How come none of you asshats has put this video here yet? [video:youtube]UEaKX9YYHiQ
  25. what is patently unfair is that everyday god loving Americans can't legally own nukes for protection from the government
