  1. It sure was nice to dawn patrol some of my fun new bolted climbs this morning at 5:30! Back to the house to see the wife off to work, then it's off to scrub my new crack route. Climbing is fun!

  4. Prehaps the greatest thread of all time. I laughed, I cried from laughing, I was amazed. Josh, you took us all with you on a fantastic voyage, thank you.

  7. Good sign, we were visited by the SCW raptors down at Trundle dome last week, 3 of them circling us at a low elevation.
  8. Uh, you guys know that it's frowned upon to climb anything but the trade routes at Castle Rock, lest you disturb the verdant carpets of moss.
  9. I surf the real CIA site all the time, their world factbook is interesting and the kids page is fun too: games, puzzles, codes to solve! LINK: https://www.cia.gov/kids-page/index.html

  11. Well done guys! Thanks fer the routes!
  12. spam, I tried Bulkhead Blues today, fell around 10 times at the crux. Those crux holds are very thin, so very thin. Small HB offset kept things protected near the top.

Get real!!! all day jugging and high angle work deserve proper, dedicated work ropes. Do a good job and clean up your mess after you finish. 14. It's nice to see stewardship efforts at such a great area. Don't just buy them a beer, go help them scrub! Beer tastes great with a hint of moss and dirt in your mouth. I reccomend the soft sided 6 pack cooler for all day freshness.
  15. Just got off the phone with Derek, he trundled the death blocks off the top of Peanuts. He said it's an amazing route.
  16. As a matter of fact there are two bundles left, all yours. Check PM
  17. The company I work for replaced dozens of fixed draws at several popular Nevada crags free of charge. I think we hung up something like 70 draws, not to mention a couple dozen 1/4" wire rope fixed anchors. The local climbing comnunity was very thankful, and none of the draws got stolen as far as I know. Of course, we attached them with quicklinks.
  18. There were a lot of people out last weekend, but it seemed pretty easy to avoid the crowds.
  19. Well done DC! My copy of SVR is looking a little tattered, I'll take a new one when ready.

If you are coming over the mountains this week/ weekend you can pick them up and have a nice campfire on me. Downtown Leavenworth pickup only, 1 minute from Hwy 2. All wood is dry and bundled, ready for transport. Wood is small to medium sizes. PM or post here before Wends. night.
