These things usually drive with one hand on the wheel one on the E-brake, messing with the cd player and flipping the other guy off.

I've done my own trigger repair many times. Use 1/16" wire rope and nico sleeves. The crimping tool will cost you a little, but you can easily pay for the whole setup by fixing a couple more units for friends. 1/16" does not repair Metolius or Aliens.
