Something about this story reminds me of the way the northwest used to be... a 70' story. More of a logger's northwest. Back then,they would have kept him and fed him beer every day. I think back to when Everett's Forest park had 2 bears in a cage, they lived there for years.

The Cosmic wall has some great views... Castle Crags is so close to I-5 that you can camp 5 minutes off the road and go climbing a hour from your tent.

How about "Beer"? it came in a plain white box. This was during the "generic craze" of 1981. I guess the point about Lucky Lager was to recreate the puzzles under the bottle caps with those little dudes who eat a sausage...a challenge to you, the intrepid poster.

The Bush House was the scene of an endless stream of controversy and trouble. Index was just too small of a town to host such a business...I think 1 out of 3 people in the valley worked there and got fired or quit We used to frequent the bar quite often, as we always knew somebody who could hook us up with cheap food and beer. Half the time you were sitting in between the town drunk and the mayor. Sitting on the back deck getting hammered was a Sky valley tradition. This thread makes me sad...
