Then she told me she has to go through another surgery and I'm the one who gets to take care of her for a week afterwards. There's some more stuff, but it's all equally boring. This is patently untrue. Lennon (and co.) all but invented modern pop Vaughn is responsible for a lot of the blues influences in modern country (blech) Most of Hendrix's influence is spoken by guitarists, but rarely performed, and certainly not in th emajority of recorded music. This is where someone cites Trey Anastasio as a modern recording artist holding the Hendrix tradition. Give me an even ten artists that are still doing the hendrix thing and you win.

Van Halen was the main protagonist of the 80's guitarwankfests. He was directly responsible for jackass virtuosos applying strange devices like vibrators and electric drills fitted with picks to their instruments.
