Can't say I disagree with some of their arguments. And Americanisation of the rest of the world is a bad thing. You lose cultural identity and uniqueness.

I wear flip flops at my job now. I often walk around the office bare-footed. But I can't see myself doing this for the rest of my life. As for flip flops in lab, alot of these labs are pretty fun and the atmosphere is very casual. Biological scientists are the funnest and coolest people I've ever met.

Being someone who is still in college, this question has often crossed my mind and caused me much distress. Currently, I want to go into the area of biochemical/biotech research. I enjoy biological sciences very much. I'm really interested in research and being involved in the discovery and understanding of a [new] biological pathway. I want to be in the forefront.

There's just not enough time in the week to check out all these places! Working two jobs can suck. I went to PMS to check out the Khamsin 62. Jim helped me out. I didn't like the fit initially, but I got used to it. I felt like there was no back support. There was this HUGE gap between my back and the pack. I had to arch as if reaching my toes to fill it. Jim flattened the frame out; it was better. I also had a hard time loading/balancing 40 lbs effectively. I'll try both the Bora and Khamsin again at Marmot. (Finally, a place that has both so I can test them out) Hopefully today, but not likely. Why do shops close so friggin early?!

Coffee = good. Caffeine = bad. I drink coffee followed by ample amounts of water to counter the diuretic effects.
