  1. 93 miles in 24 hrs? That's beyond ambitious! That's super human! 48 hrs doesn't sound any more reasonable.

    Strap on the nitro!!

I thought the sarcasm would be painfully obvious.
  3. So I rented Vertical Limit. Man, this stuff is golden. Chris O'Donnell is a climbing god!
  4. Cool. I always wondered why people don't stay on the summit longer.
  5. As a red-blooded male...
  6. Guess I'm just upset that they had the worst pint of Guinness I've ever had.
  7. Well I'm back from Kort Haus and I give the place a thumbs down. Slow service, mediocre food, and they even messed up Guinness.
  8. Ostrich, kangaroo, and alligator burgers!? Dude, I must try these!
  9. While all the cool kids rip holes in their trousers, my bum will be covered and protected!
  10. I love this weekly ritual.
  11. My mom says I'm cool...
  12. I agree about the selection. Sounded like a rip too.
  13. Support your local aussies and kiwis? Never been. Probably sucks (what self-respecting Aussie serves Foster's and not XXXX, VB, or TooHeys?!) but what the hey.
  14. Old school. Hmm... interesting.

  16. Is it worth it to get 'specialised' glacier glasses? The only reason I see is that it hurts less to scratch up $50 glacier glasses versus $150 Oakleys. I ask cuz I can't find glacier glasses that fit me nearly as well as sport glasses. They're not as comfortable nor block as much light (cover my face) as the sport glasses. What about polarised glasses--is this feature important?
  17. Joke? I thought this was common knowledge--a law of nature. It's up there with gravity and thermodynamics.
  18. Well that disqualifies me... No experience.
  19. OK, just so I'm clear (having not had the choads to actually use the EDK yet) on how to tie this thingie. It's a simple single overhand knot that starts with both ends lying next to each other with ends matched up equally (not pointing at each other as in a grapevine/fisherman's) and no back-up? It is NOT a "granny" knot nor a square knot. Do I have this right, kidz? This is what I found on Google: Looks to me like a water knot, but parallel instead of anti-parallel.
  20. Jeebus!
  21. Mmmkay...
  22. Fuck me! Whole flies?!?!! I'm hoping these are tiny fruit flies...

    Who's Been Where?

No money. So only BC and Oregon... I want to visit Australia, NZ, Brasil, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, England, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Antarctica... NYC, LA, Texas, Massachusett, Hawaii, Alaska, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Florida.
  24. An overhand knot to connect two ropes, wouldn't that be the (regular) fisherman? Well, two overhand knots... I use the double fisherman with overhand safety knots.
  25. Well I checked out the Mac and Jack's Brewery and they didn't have food nor were they opened.
