For the most part, climbers enjoy the mountains in their natural state and are a block of citizens that can have influence over environmental policy. That said, it is nice to have logging and mining roads for access. Not that I want any more logging or mining in untrampled places, mind you...

Thanks Jon and Timmay. This is a great resource for me. On the issue of photos in the old TR's, etc., I noticed that just a couple numbers changed in the link to the Gallery and one can restore the link by going back to the picture in the Gallery and recopying and inserting the new address. So, if people want to fix their own work, they can just do it that way.

I have read, in either Backcountry, Off-piste, or Couloir mags, that these are Tele specific in that the rail lengths and angles are different a la Scotty Bobs: There is a specific right and left ski and these are designed for Tele only. Paul does have a solid rep.

Buddy's B-day bonfire then ice skating party on the marsh if the cold weather holds. Was up climbing on Island today. skiing last Thgursday and Friday with H and J up at Bake Head. We should get the kids together for a ski. Then do some Ice. I am almost done with this project and then my schedule will free up. Did you read about those guys hitting Gib Ledges?! I want a second go...

Damn! We were at the Headwall (I think that is what it is called). I believe we did the Nose with the 5.9 variation on the finish. The loose block at the crux is wedged in cause we tried to trundle it, so it is safe to pull on, just feels dangerous. Great day! Didn't see anyone except the tourons in the parking lot. Next time...
