I remember hitchhiking through there and seeing some surprisingly pretty country though.....How far to Devils Lake? Gym climbing is brutal on the fingers.....it would seem that playing guitar and climbing are almost mutually exclusive things. Make sure you give yourself plenty of warm up time, and rest days too.
