  1. How about the whole US? http://libremap.org/
  2. SR20 updates from WSDOT
  3. pindude- When you are viewing it in GoogleMaps, there is a button that says "View in Google Earth". For some reason my system saves it as an .xml file, but if I rename it as a .kml file, then it opens right up in Google Earth. So... I'd say it would take about 45 seconds to get all that info into GE. I would attach the file, but I can't seem to find that option anymore.
  4. Thank you very much Eric, and welcome to cc.com... Did you see the post about Ski-In?
  5. That's maybe a bit late, but it is Memorial day w/e isn't it?
  6. It is inadvisible to hope for "adjustent" of sizes with fitting. There is really only one shell that is the right size in each model, and different models/brands may be the wrong shape. Boots that fit properly are worth a lot more than the suprise factor, IMO.
  7. Looks like it's time to start planning... Everyone check in... Normally it's been the week after the pass opens. If the crews are on schedule, that will make it the 10/11 of May. Dependent on DaveP of course.
  8. 40cm in the last 24h, on top of the biggest base all season, more on the way. antijinx!
  9. No freaking idea... Lots of them have involved powder lately though! :D

    Canada: Tax Haven.

12% these days. 5% in Alberta.
  11. Sweet N Cascade couloir action. On TGR as well - different POV. FKNA guys!
  12. I think the G3 tail might not be as secure as the STS tail. You can swap them out if they are not the new laminated tail straps.
  13. Everything he just said.^^ And low-pro tips do suck a bit for touring. Especially if you are going up a postholed skin track and the tips keep getting stuck in the postholes.
  14. If you have the Black Diamond Clipfix, it will probably give you pain. If you have the STS tail system, they work fine on rounded tails. The twin tip actually seems to keep the tail on better, because it holds the clip up out of the snow.
  15. You neeed the 3/64" for Metolious, and those sleeves are harder to source. The smallest aliens are good to go with fishing tackle gear.

    hotmail problems

Dontcha know, you gotta use gmail for that 'coz it's got more storage for attachments...
  17. So-So. The crimping tool really isn't the right thing for the job. It'll work, but it won't be pretty.
  18. Should be reliably good 'til mid April most years.
  19. Ever visit Squamish? I used to do them for Valhalla Pure there, and I think they have someone else looking after them. ALiens are tricky, but do-able.
  20. Hwy 5 is now expected to be closed until the end of this week...
  21. I've left skins on skis, and the skis got glue on them. Otherwise, I fold them together, and put them in a Rubbermaid in the basement for the summer. Got one pair going on 5 years and I just touched up the glue a couple weeks ago for the first time.
  22. I went for the Princeton Tec Apex over either of those. New Petzl MyoXP sounds good too,.
  23. I hear they have some pretty sweet harnesses coming for the next season.
