  1. Wendy's Spicky Chicken, all right, but what about the Frosty?
  2. That looks like it could be really fun to climb after a September storm, at least to this retard.
  3. Beauty, Paul!
  4. Great photo, E! Sorry to hear about your troubles; precisely when did they start?
  5. It's so pretty back there. Way to maintain the mystique. And you're obviously not retarded.
  6. There is a vast difference between knowing the mathematics required to use a theory and actually understanding the physical picture those mathematics represent. There's also a well-established spoiler from the philosophy of science: for any finite number of observations, there is an infinite number of equally suitable explanations. It's hard to just accept our limitations though, isn't it?
  7. Seems like a good first alpine climb to me. I really enjoyed taking a couple inexperienced friends up that route. (If I weren't in Michigan I might be willing to take your life in my hands. Lord knows I've gotten spanked enough on harder routes lately.)
  8. They're closed now, but get in contact with Adam and I think you could get a better deal on 8611s from Pro Ski on Aurora.
  9. Jennie, despite a recollection of you being a Coloradan, I would like to offer you my sympathies. That doesn't sound fun. Have any crazy pictures of that?
  10. As far as I'm concerned, it's still the weekend. I'm going to eat nachos and drink beer now.
  11. Good article, thanks Lowell and Lito! "No man is an island..."
  12. Both of those, but don't forget: Fruit Loops Cocoa Puffs? Special K... OOOH Honey Smacks!
  13. SHHH!!! Everybody trying to blow my cover around here. First some link on a big website, now Off's trying to expose me as a serial lady licker... I'm also a cereal killer.
  14. Or looking for ladies to lick! (You all know I'm referring to Oly here, right?)
  15. I took a good fall while skinning up a steep slope three years ago. Jerked my right shoulder real hard while stopping and it sure did hurt. Since then, I'm highly prone to aggravate it when I play basketball, especially rebounding and dunking. Quick, jerky motions are bad. It seems to do a lot better when I do military presses and other shoulder workouts. Climbing doesn't bother it, unless I try to pull on it with my arm above and behind my head. Falling on it in a bad way can really tweak it, though.
  16. I love riding the bus.
  17. This route was enjoyable like having your dentist give you a filling without using novocaine. Actually, it had some really cool spots, but the loose rock/kitty litter/poor pro was frequently quite scary. Definitely stimulating.
  18. Must be OFF DA HOOK up in there!
  19. Swear to God, man. That's a cool story.
  20. That vegetated crack looks fun.

    OMG!!!!!

Oly, that is SO sick. Your camera skillz are off da chartz. Saggiscariest. We did some Index climbing today and my outlook on life is all fixed up 'n' shit too. Godzilla->Slow Children->I got bitch slapped on some bolted roof after some really cool stemming. Anybody know what the bitch-slapping roof is called? HEY PETE: Ross and I plan to camp by the pass tomorrow. Gimme call...
  22. "But it's such a long hike with lots of extra vertical!" Tastes great...
  23. Yes, no problem to skirt the Stuart Glacier. Maybe cross one really flat, stagnant section. Shouldn't be a hindrance.
  24. I concur with the crampon-and-ax ditching, Teanaway approaching, Complete NR climbing, Cascadian descending MO. It's also possible to ditch the frozen H2O gear and descend via West Ridge to NW Buttress to Goat Pass to Stuart Lake, for the Complete NR from the Mountaineer Creek side.
  25. Glad you had a chance to stretch your legs, doc.
