  1. That's odd, I saw Tim Russert showing a list like this this morning on 'Today'. Didn't have all those funny numbers next to it though
  2. I think MtnFreak's argument is that even though you can boil water faster with the PR, it is using more fuel regardless, so you get less use per canister (did I get that right?). So, I think another test that would be helpful is how many litre's of water can you boil per canister on each stove using the larger JB pot? If MtnFreak's calculations hold up, it may take longer with the JB, but you will get more use per canister. I don't know the answer and hopefully we can coerce you into performing another test RideT61. Good thread

  8. I Had a music teacher in high school tell me a story about when he was a private lesson teacher for the trumpet out of college. It was his first day teaching lesson and the room next to him was were the celloists [sic?] and other stringed instruments lessson were given. Apparently, a new student had just started next to his room before his student arrive and was incessantly scratching and plucking the cello. It was so bad he walk over and knocked on the door to complain. When the door opened he saw a lady sitting there practising. He told her, "Ma'am, between your legs you have an instrument that, if caressed and stroked properly, could give endless years of pleasure to you and countless other individuals; and the only thing you seem to be able to do it is to scratch it!"
