Now we need to have OW fix his "climbing" photo.

Lucky for him The CNR (w/gendarme) is a great example of a simulable (new word) route. The first few pitches are a bit much for an average leader to solo, but for the most part after that it's low 5th, if not 4th class climbing. When following, I usually leave my belay device attached to the rope, with a knot tied behind it. If the leader needs a belay, I can plug a few pieces and have him on in a matter of seconds.

He told me a story about some neutrino's once. It was kind of like one of those "had to be there" kind of stories. He does distribute some pretty bitch'n brews from the land of "Full Service Gas". :tup:

I have a friend who's wife climbed while pregnant last year. Saw his new kid over the weekend and I think he'll grow up just fine. The full body harness is the best way to go, too. :tup:

The strip in the middle is suppose to make it easier to peel off your skins when you pull them off your ski's and/or when you peel them apart when putting them on.

Went to Snoq Pass Monday morning late cause I'm lazy. It was snowing in the Parking lot. Skinned up to Kendal Stump, snow turned to freezing rain. Challenging snow made for interesting skiing. Back at car I took off my coat of armor and headed for the NBBG for burgers and a beer. I keep forgetting every year that skiing sucks ass at Snoq Pass.

I think the peeps in Lake Louise have something for us Americano's. Maybe the horses got wind of where you were from and decided to call in some backup. I would have much rather hit a rocky mountain sheep that one of those elk though. Crazy trip, man.

No way, snow mo's are about the only access unless you are willing to ski in.
