  1. I had wondered if it might have been setting a TR on one of the other crags but the Launch Ledge thing makes sense. A 75 foot fall normally wouldn't work out okay while one from LL perhaps could. Plus with the wet conditions, LL travel requires care.
  2. Four that I know of. Not sure if Mr. Cilley has partaken. Certainly at the high end of expertise due to difficulty and range of size. Definitely badass at time of FA!
  3. Bring the bike- Redmond is a big biking community with easy bike access to Vertical World and all local shops and pubs as well as downtown Seattle via Burke-Gilman path.
  4. Pope arrested installing Via Ferrata on Mt. Garfield
  5. Somebody was working Just Do It on Friday as well. Just waiting to see which cc.com'er it was.
  6. It's at least July and maybe even August.
  7. Become one with day trips.
  8. Mountaineers do it with lingerie on over polypro
  9. Bowhunters go deeper into the bush, shoot more often, and eat what they shoot
  10. I would suggest concentrating first on routes in the book and venture onto the Robins routes when your spirit of adventure is especially strong.
  11. Trad (place lots of gear in this rock): Seven Virgins and a Mule (5.7) Party in Your Pants (5.8) George and Martha (5.10a) Sport: Clip 'Em or Skip 'Em (5.8) Throbbing Gristle (5.9) Ride 'Em Cowboy (5.9) Jig Saw Direct (5.10b) Sunshine Wall is most fun when not highly populated.
  12. I buy one every year but never write in it- I only get it for the weekly stoke.
  13. She started with pushups.
  14. How about quail hunting.
  15. And my least favorite is Alexander Keith's from CN. A simple border line makes such a difference in beer tastes.
  16. I am a hophead and BB is my absolute favorite.
  17. Since there is so much climbing in Colorado, the best thing would be to acquire the Rock Climbing Colorado book (equivalent of the Smoot book for Washington) which gives an overview of the major areas and most popular routes and then get specific guides to areas you are interested in. Boulder area should be prime then and think about Lumpy Ridge (coolish until May) if you like trad granite.
  18. Darn, I was just ready to call Pope out on this one. I haven't seen that photo of his for weeks!
  19. We have our quota of Matts on this site..... I'm surprised the administrators allowed you to register! Welcome to the area. Good luck finding a partner and getting out.

  22. This is a serious thread for serious sprayers.
  23. Ego? The following is from the site discussing getting in contact: ------------------- Whoever said "there are no stupid questions" was wrong. We are not interested in helping beginners, the indolent, or the ignorant. This is a serious place, for serious people..... Finally, posting a few respectable workout times is not a sound basis for a membership petition. Potential members must "stand on the porch" because what you can do is unimportant compared to your character. Words, goals, experience and commitment may unlock the door. If you send a message be prepared for a clear, honest and perhaps abrupt answer. -----------------
  24. Cool site and impressive accomplishments. I just wish they listed how many pushups they can do.
  25. Is this posts only or does it include PM's?
