  1. bend downtown: 15,000 f'ing ways to buy jewelry, coffee, or trinkits but not a supermarket to be found. It's like 23rd ave in PDX x 1000. who designed the street layout in that joint? roundabouts? what is this, England?

  6. freshiez on the dark side of the cone! Dreaming of coffee on the pine marten deck after a session in the NW territory...
  7. the north cascades folks have some pretty high standards. I've found the rock on washington fine too. A belay on the west face was a little sketch, but otherwise good rock and great route. Sounds like you avoided the dinnerplate area on the west ridge. The rock flat-out sucks.

Have you forgotten Dru's aquatic obsession, that titanic tentacled terror and dreaded denizen of the depths, the killer king of the kraken, a.k.a. the GIANT SQUID? Those things'll take off your leg, no questions asked. The shy Architeuthis is a well-known obsession of castor druensis canadensis, which makes its nest in the rain-soaked B.C. coastal range. One might even expect some form of habitual "reciprocal altruism" between the two species. This relationship is not to be confused with traskensis sickii, who's relationship with Ovis canadensis is well-documented.

As he skied off I took some photos to post later. Hope he had a parachute. I bet he will try doin' the dishes @ some point. It will of course be documented when he does!
