Start a recall movement! Does this mean I have to have an affair in Argentina?
-
This is just some bullshit schoolyard jive, it's happened here plenty before. Remember back when bagging on NolSE was the in thing everyone did to show how tough they were, before he became John Frieh and starting spewing kickass TR's of some pretty good lines? Or big tough guys ragging on Allison ad nauseum? Ugly human group behavior if you ask me.

You know how Dru has many many more posts to his credit than show up under his current G-spotter moniker? Its the same thing for Pete_H, though probably the total is at least an order of magnitude less.

I kind of suspect you're on the enemies list too Dru...

Sanford called for Clinton to resign because of the Lewinsky affair and voted for the articles of impeachment. Sanford of course, has not resigned. He's a piece of shit not because of his personal life, but because of his public hypocrisy. He's even had the gall to state that God want's him to finish his term. Me, I'm pretty sure that his God wants him to just shut the fuck up.

I was just looking at some of Phil Bard's iconic photos of Bachar soloing. I don't wanna pirate them here, but this link will take you there.

That bolt has been the subject of debate many times, I think it's a guide thing. Isn't it over the edge and not very intrusive?
-
Maybe we need Pink to come out and hang a banner on that wall. After 12 years do you still have patience and belief in the public process?

Tyrus Bachar, starting his own thread on Supertopo: Tyrus & John, Bachar photo via Simon King, posted on Supertopo. This breaks my heart. This is a high profile name brand accident, but the same pain and emotion is repeated around every climbing death you hear about.

Dru, you are not old enough to remember that song. "We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun...", oh no! Oh no Brian, that song has been brought to a whole new generation... [video:youtube]

It's because I merged your thread, the second one started on the subject, with the earlier thread Bill Coe started in the Rockclimbing forum. Because I moved his thread onto yours in this forum, it retained your title, but because Bill started his thread before you did, his post predates yours. Make sense now? It seemed to me that we should only have the one thread. Sorry if you feel slighted.

[TR] Mt. Goode - Northeast Buttress 7/4/2009
Off_White replied to AlpinWeiss's topic in North Cascades
Nice TR, thanks a bunch. Yes Chimbo, it's a popular route. -

That's pretty nice Marc, but when are you going to add the aggro death metal soundtrack?

I agree the numbers would be really different if you said 5.7 instead of 5.9. What routes 5.9 and above get a lot of traffic in the Cascades? Stuart N Ridge w/Gendarme, West Face CBR, Backbone Ridge, Burgner/Stanley on Prussik. Does Lib Bell group count? If so, toss in NW Corner and W Face on NEWS and Liberty Crack. Rebel Yell or Clean Break maybe, though I've never heard of parties stacking up on those routes. There's plenty of other worthy objectives, but they just don't get that much traffic. I picked the 500-1000 bracket, though I lean more towards the 1000 than the the 500 end of that scale. Back in the pre-internet days, no one had a clue just who was climbing what, until you actually ran into someone out there.

One of his earlier flicks, Tokyo Gore Police, is one of the greatest splatter films of all time, definitely the weirdest offering in over a decade of attending All Freaking Night at the Olympia Film Festival.

Yes, though you continue a little past that knoll then cut right, a wee bit of brush leads to talus.

Argentina is pretty close to Brazil, so I'm going to guess the next revelation will be that Ms Argentina is not technically genetically female...

Once in awhile, when I go to the Spray forum, I get this list of dusty old threads as if they were the most recent thing. This ever happen to anyone else? Since Pope reaffirmed his bond with his buddy Peter Puget in that MTB TR (Pope's second TR ever, good on ya!) it seemed fitting to pull this crusty little chestnut to the foreground.

If you're set on that sport's terminology, how about Spitball

UPDATE 6/24/09 It's been dry all day, though radar suggests there's a persistent band of showers hanging out down by the I-5 corridor, so who knows what the evening holds. Looks okay right now though... While raptor nesting may be protected on public lands, there is no such prohibition on hornets nesting on private land, so the nest down by Pete & Ted's Excellent Adventure has been sprayed.

He didn't lie to his family, his wife has known about the affair for five months.
