You might try posting on supertopo.com, they're a lot more california-centric. It would seem you'd have to be able to find someone in your area, you've got lots of rock in a 3 hour radius.

Sunday was opening day, with most of the right side dry. Fickle weather gods willing the Wednesday should be a go, though at least four stalwart regulars will likely be out of town.

I was thinking more of the chemtrails, anti vaccine, moon landing denial, the odd bit of religiosity, and other things. I've never heard Dr. Layton claim to be able to cure cancer via Chiropractic practices. Though you know, he is a pretty airy fairy woo-woo sort. Though the classic TR from Cutthroat, still memorable after 11 years suggests he might have a different sort of irrational side: Link to TR I was also hoping the mere appearance of the word "homeopathy" would stimulate Jay_B to hold forth, I've missed that guy.

Trash, that's kind of a cool project. If you're serious about Grand Junction, a good friend of mine is the Library Director there, and might be able to help you with an official installation. Oh, and Scott, that's a great school project too, nothing like putting astronomical things into human perspective.

Ghost, Kevin Worral is alive and well, a frequent poster on Supertopo and resident of San Diego. If he was a buddy, you can easily contact him via that site. I'd thought I heard way back there that he'd crashed a VW bus into a tree in the Valley and it was his girlfriend that died, but that's third or fourth hand at best. There's also a long thread on this subject there you'll find interesting.
