  1. stop posting these pictures...they're making me feel all funny when i go to the bathroom.
  2. i agree...don't live just not to die...that shit'll never work. oh, and i do have health insurance....feels kinda nice too
  3. can still get your neck cranked real bad w/ a helmet...also most helmets don't have a lot of good protection on the sides...kinda like the lesson the germans learned in ww1
  4. fuck! i really thought this one was going ot have a happy ending...
  5. ah, now that i can agree to!
  6. thursday's folks frequently climb at rocky butte (hardly worth the drive from hood river) and drink afterwards...watch the events forum, as some energetic person usually has to get the motivation up course, this thursday i'm going before a school board to beg for $10,000...think i'll need to drink before that...
  7. helps when fools know whereya live...
  8. if i was in that tent i'd be having a bit of right about now...dem boys oughta be fine, the bones seem good tonight we'll all & when they're down okay...course, we'd probably at least if they didn't
  9. poor mike...conversations w/ yerself there towards the end. let's do some shit in town next week...
  10. i used to score a sleeping mat, 2 gallons of gas, and about 25 pounds of candy bars (the later while at 17k)
  11. basalt column stuff...mostly pretty hard. just north of the cooper spur turnoff. nice area, a choice of trs on the right or difficult lead shit on the left.
  12. groovy...thanx. obviously i know of the elliot monsters but i'm far too lazy to hoof it up there for just a few hours of practice. a dead inlaw just put the kiboosh on the trip anyway...time to go to tennessee!
  13. nice, and back down to write the TR before the day is done...
  14. wanna show a few folks the ropes of crevasse rescue this weekend, inshahallah. would like to use an actual crevasse on hood instead of just a steep slope near t-line. have any cracks of size opened on the reid yet? does the reid ever form cracks of any depth/width? i've never been over there 'cept in the winter/early spring. reckon the 'schrund on the s side could be used but i'd worry about the gumbies plunging in ontop of me after flossing the slopes above recommendations?
  15. think thrashador is taking the "yard sale" forum too literally?
  16. shit, won't be working for much longer!
  17. gib ledges will probably be too late...it's hard to get off the beaten path on rainier unless you're doing something difficult. the kautz sees a little less traffic and might still be okay. the emmons sees a ton of traffic but it'll work then. the success cleaver might be an option too.
  18. move to portland...no one climbs during the week here...
  19. pictures? i'm solid green...
  20. i use my new balance running shoes for everything...they suck for slab climbing, but are good for everything else (including strapping crampons for easy glacier shite)
  21. does dfa prefer coke to pepsi?
  22. don't make me have to go project genesis on your ass khan to be precise, i live in the 'couve...i only wish i was in portland you can see illumination from here
  23. sounds like it, but a few more weeks and it oughta be clean? what'arya? too good to die?
