Where? Dunno exactly but I've seen him a good half dozen times in the past few months, late afternoon while trail running. Mostly on Leif Ericson if I recall, trusty Fido by his side. I always just flash a big shit-eatin' grin, laugh and carry on.

Mr Fido is now training for the first pirate speed ascent of Rainier. You can find him almost any eve in Forest Park, eyepatch and all. Argh, matey!

There's a huge network of tunnels connecting the entire campus of the school I went to on the east coast, probably some 10+ miles of tunnels and odd storage rooms. It was almost entirely closed off somewhere back in the 50s but with some crude homemade lockpicking tools (and in one instance, a crowbar) access could be had. The neat part was the history of all the crap that went down in there during the sixties, crazy graffiti, sculptures, etc in some of the weirdest places. All left over from when LSD was not yet illegal and when the school had one of the top chemistry programs in the country. Good times.

I doubt this will lead to any type of tour to the top. I think it's kind of cool in a way, they're just after some arbitrary record, just like anyone else who climbs Everest. Didn't know choppers could fly so high, dang!

I had never aided anything first time I climbed it. Two aiders, one diasy, must have looked kinda funny. Anyways it's nothing to worry about, you'll figure it out. Nolses right, second aiding will save a ton of time, and the West Face Variation (#13a in Watts book, not grade) is saweeeeet!
