  1. Wellcome to the basin, when its warm yes. I thought it was O.K. but then I've climbed when its been much worse.
  2. We did one that was 3+ easy 4 just pass salt and pepper, not in the guide. Lots of stuff forming, but as all Banks Lks climbs there steep and its not Canada fat.
  3. Ice is still fat, climbed 3 routes today, saw noone else climbing. I thought someone would be out. Better get it while its here.
  4. I too agree with Lummox, thats a long way to go. It might be ok on low angle ice, but something steep? Time will tell if they take or not.
  5. Is that tree in your back yard?
  6. We were at the cowgirls yesterday, and they were climbing in good form, made it look easy.
  7. Thanks Paul. never made it up that far, climbed at the sunlakes golf course, was too warm, if it don't get cold again it will all go away. Better hurry if you want some.
  8. Sorry could not play today, plan on going in the morning, will report back than.
  9. Suckbm, move away from the dark side, come to the light. Lots of the kidds from ellenburg climb,Vantage is 30 mins. away. And Fred teaches a class there (Stanly) get away from the city you might be supprised. You can do anything, outdoor sports within a short drive of central Wa. Just a thought.
  10. Funny this should come up, after saturday my toes hurt like hell on the way home, I just thought they were warming up and I was getting the burn, but after I got home and they still hurt I thought it must have been from kicking the ice with numb feet(big toes)the pain went away and my toes where sore. So after we leave to go sunday I was kind of worryed that it was going to be painful to climb, got there and my feet got cold fast and had no pain climbing. BUT on the way home when they started thawing out owwwwzzz. Both big toes are discolored and have some numbness. The nails are dark blue with red around the outside, but it looks more like I hit them with a hammer. They are tender but no pain. I hope they don't hurt too much sunday when I go out.
  11. Its more fun to dodge the bowling balls. We saw you on salt and pepper saturday, looked fun might have to go do that soon, more fun on lead. And the death cicles did not come down saturday or sunday BUT they will, and I would not want to be there when they do.

  14. Not fat yet, but won't take long with these temps. Its -0 here now and will get colder before the night is thru. It was cold today, people are starting to show up, but there are not enought lines in yet. Maybe in two weeks you better wait.
  15. Climbs are starting to come in,Punchbowl is in, most other lines are still thin, but if it stays cold routes should get fat fast.

  18. Went there sunday and not much was in. Salt and Pepper was formed and looked ok. The punchbowl was starting to come in but was thin. Saw four guys toproping it so they might have mess up what little ice there was. Its cold here now, and the climbs should start forming up, but don't know how well they will be by this weekend. If it stays like this next weekend should be good.
