  1. Look at banks Lk theard, thats about it.
  2. Nothing there, but there is some ice back behind Soap Lk, that I played on late last year. It looks big and fat, going to check it out tomorow after work. Will post what I find.
  3. Here's what I know, Nothing is in below Coulee City, Champane has ice on the top but missing in the middle. As has been said Punch is in, we climbed the left side and Trotsks Revenge Sunday, Death sickles were mostly gone. There are a couple Routes at Pee Wees playground that are fun, The corner route by Salt and Pepper can go,but start is thin. Met some guys top roping the Cable which was not down, was told it was Pope, studs for getting on that. H2O2 is in. Having said all that its 41 here now(Ephrata) and has been raining. We need more water on the ground, snow or rain for most climbs to come in. But its supose to get colder latter this week. Not really worth the drive right now, but I will keep updates coming. Paul
  4. No better person to climb with than Mark. allways a lot of fun.
  5. Theres a john in the camping area, today Friday 17th. Now you can all shit away
  6. I like that, have to remember that trick.
  7. I drape the rope over whatever im using to tie in with (slings or clove hitch) and it plays out just find. Sometimes the last few feet might be, but it goes out find.
  8. Whenever I get to the top of pitch 1 ( or 2 or whatever) I set a screw that I run the rope tru that goes to my 2nd. If he comes off all the pull goes to it and not my anchor. When he starts up the next pitch this becomes his frist piece. So I allways try to have 3 screws for the anchor. Just the way I do it, you may try or not, or flame on.
  9. koolaid thats what they all drink
  10. Just got back, and theres still a little ice to be had. Last weeks cold kept the ice around a little longer. Infact some some it got bigger. Just letting you know if your not done yet, you could still swing a tool.
  11. I've lived in Ephrata for 20 years and Jim has allways had a sharping shop. I heard of him for chain saws and knifes. Friends told me about him. I had some dull screws and went and talk to him,and he said it should not be diffrent from a router bit, so I said give it a try, and now we have a place that does screws. He can sharpen just about anything, nice old school guy. He lives the next st. over from me, it would be kool to hear his past and hear how he got started.
  12. Climbed at the Punchbowl again, did right, left and Troskis. Ice is great right now. If anyone wants to do a first lead now is the time. It was starting to rain when we left, so I would get on it now. Nothing but plastic ice today, just sucked front points right in. I wish there were more lines, but at least I got more laps in.I think its not going to last another weekend, but a couple more days for sure.
  13. As of last weekend Banks was big and fat. Rained during the week, but should still be there. Was cold last nite, sunshine today. Going out Sunday to do something, whatever is left.
  14. Glad ro hear it worked out for you. Jim is a kooldude.
