tvashtarkatena Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I would turn that around and ask why, in a supposedly free society, should someone who worked very hard for those well earned millions have to forfeit them for smoking a relatively harmless weed? Why should this simple personal choice stigmatize this young man who, by all accounts, is certainly a great American? Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 If he can't stop smoking pot to make millions of dollars a month, then he is too big of an idiot to have the money in the first place. Why should he? He's worked hard - let him enjoy himself. Quote
akhalteke Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 because it is illegal. If you are opposed t the law, work hard to change it. That is what this country is about hoss. Quote

denalidave Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 I am not giving you that argument that pot is good for you. It is not that healthy for you or anyone to use. BUT……..to answer your hypothetical scenario question….I feel terrible anytime someone gets cancer from smoking cigarettes. But on the flip side I say……WHAT THE FUCK WHERE YOU THINKING? It is common knowledge that smoking causes cancer. I will never smoke again myself…….but I will also never tell you that you cant smoke (unless its in my house or car). As far as walking into 7/11 and being able to buy it…..you mean like cigarettes and alcohol? IMO they are WAY worse than pot. So is having tobacco legal a benefit to the greater society? Quote

Dechristo Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 I always figured the laws would likely start changing in my lifetime. It seems most of the people that are so anti-pot are the aged and soon on there way out. I had the same viewpoint in '68 when I predicted pot would be decriminalized by '72. Quote
