KaskadskyjKozak Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Does anyone believe the girl on the gymnast team are 16? They faked the fireworks, they faked the opening ceremonies (lip synch). The Commie lies are everywhere. Quote
Jim Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Too bad, doesn't seem fair. No way are those little things 16. I think the average weight of the Chinese gymnasts is 71 lb!! while the US comes in at 107 lbs!!! Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted August 13, 2008 Author Posted August 13, 2008 Does it matter how old they are? The rule is 16 by end of year. Clearly, the rule is not enforceable. Quote
akhalteke Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 Its against the rules of the games and it isn't exactly great to be vaulting through the air when your epiphyseal plates haven't fused. The older athletes have enough major injuries. For a younger athlete, this could cripple them for a lifetime. Quote

"retired" at 17. Quote

sobo Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 For a younger athlete, this could cripple them for a lifetime. But it's all for the glory of the motherland! Surely sacrifices must be made. At least these kids get their mugs on TV, unlike the opening ceremonies singer. Quote

canyondweller Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 (edited) Oriental women always look younger than they are; easy to fake, to be sure. Could we cut one open and count the rings? Edited August 13, 2008 by canyondweller Quote
olyclimber Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 sort of reminds me of good old american little league baseball featuring central american imports! Quote

rmncwrtr Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 No way are all of them 16. I'd guess half are under 16. Bela Karolyi was going off about that again last night, but he's got a good point as KKK pointed out. Their official documentation is a passport issued by their country. Lots of checks and balances there Quote
gertlush Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 It's the Olympics what do you expect? My fav is how a Spanish woman cyclist tested positive for EPO and a Spanish male also won the men's road race...hmmmm Quote

gertlush Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it's probably a duck. Quote
sobo Posted August 13, 2008 Posted August 13, 2008 (edited) If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it's probably a duck. "But if... she... weighs... the same as a duck..." "Yes, go on." "She's made of wood." "Goooooood! And therefore...?" "A witch!" Buuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrn her!!!1 goddammit, porter! Tour de France & Giro). Quote
olyclimber Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 Well, cased closed. The communists invented lying, patented it, perfected it, and are now using it to win the Olympics. Quote
Tokogirl Posted August 14, 2008 Posted August 14, 2008 The Spanish Fly. Perhaps it is in the water in Spain?? or they have been doing way to much R&D into human performance enhancement. Two of the doctors implicated in the past 5 years with blood doping and EPO use have been Spanish. Quote
